Each of PSI’s client publishers sets its own shipping and handling policies for international customers and sales.

Most international orders are shipped FOB publisher’s warehouse, with the customer responsible for shipping and handling costs.

Each of PSI’s client publishers sets its own payment and credit policies for international customers and sales. 

Any non-U.S. bookseller wanting to purchase on open account will need to complete and submit a standard credit application form to PSI (see “Credit Application” link below). PSI then will submit that application to the publisher(s) of interest. Non-U.S. booksellers with acceptable commercial references are usually required to prepay all or a portion of their first few orders, as they establish their trading account. Each client publisher makes its own decisions regarding the line of credit that may eventually be approved. 

PSI’s client publishers typically require non-U.S. schools and individuals who order direct from outside the U.S. to prepay their orders. Most standard forms of payment are accepted (personal check, cashier’s check, bank draft, credit card, bank wire transfer). New orders will not ship until the publisher has cleared the pre-payment.
